The catalog disclosure's key line: tools execute arbitrary Python in Blender with the user's privileges. The agent can therefore do anything Blender's Python API reaches — read/write files Blender can touch and make network requests (subject to your OS permissions).
Although the core is a standard MCP server, this wrapper is a Hermes-catalog-format plugin (pinned commit, bundled Hermes skill, stdio process launched by Hermes' plugin loader). Other hosts must configure the same Blender MCP server their own way — the plugin package itself is meaningful only inside Hermes.
Risk
"Arbitrary Python inside Blender" sounds harmless but is a full code-execution surface: once an injection lands, malicious code runs with your user privileges. The disclosure also warns there is no automatic application/version/liveness gate — server discovery does not prove scene readiness, and operations in a bad state can corrupt your .blend files. The first-run dependency download is a supply-chain node.
