What it can touch
Read/write/delete over the whole Obsidian vault (via the Local REST API): any note can be read, edited, and any file or folder deleted. A vault is usually a personal knowledge base — diaries, password notes and work secrets all live there.
Risk
delete_file is an irreversible destructive tool; patch/append can quietly write false content into notes you trust (personal-scale memory poisoning). The API key equals full vault authority, and if your vault syncs, tampered content propagates to every device.
